As Sri Lanka’s first and largest Computer Emergency Readiness Team, we have marked our presence as the flagship entity which provides security and consultancy services to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Our specialty is offering customized and fully integrated information security solutions to help organizations to stay secure from cyber-attacks and keep abreast with the global cybersecurity trends. Our wide client base spreads across many industries and we have worked with many clients including banks, financial institutions, telecommunication service providers and professional institutes.
TechCERT was originally formed in 2006 and has its origins as a pioneering project of the LK Domain Registry and its academic partners, as a way of providing a safety net for large and small organizations against cyber-attacks and emergency situations.
In order to improve the operations and to further develop TechCERT, it was incorporated as an independent Limited by Guarantee Company, affiliated with LK Domain Registry, on 05th September 2016.

To ensure the security and resilience of information infrastructure and to provide an effective response and preparedness for computer security incidents to assure institutions/organizations affiliated with TechCERT are well prepared for cyber threats.
